It’s Stephanie’s last season as Artistic Director after which time Ryo Yanagitani takes the helm of Cactus Pear. Bryla-Weiss continues her beautiful playing through week 2. Pianist Scott Cuellar joins Stephanie and Ryo along with the special guests the Miró Quartet, violinist Sandy Yamamoto, cellist Lachezar Kostov, bassist Zlatan Redzic, clarinetist Ilya Shterenberg, bassoonist Sharon Kuster, and hornist Jeff Garza, as violist Ms. The second week continues chamber music magic. Stephanie and Ryo are joined by violinist Ellen dePasquale, violists Colin Sorgi and Katarzyna Bryla-Weiss, and cellists Beth Rapier and Anthony Ross. Stephanie has programmed three blockbuster programs to open week 1. Over the two-week festival at Trinity Baptist Church, you’ll hear 6 programs and 19 phenomenal musicians with an arc of programming that will be world-class from start to finish. The Festival kicks off Wednesday, July 6, 2022, and runs through Saturday, July 16.
